Your Appointment 

When Booking Your Appointment

​

  • Please advise of any specific parking arrangements and / or any specific notes regarding accessing the piano.

​

  • Any details regarding the piano are particularly helpful, such as its make & model; approximate age or serial number; when it was last tuned & any previous work carried out (if known).

​

  • If any repairs are required, these should be arranged at the time of booking, so that time can be budgeted accordingly.

​

  • A confirmation of the appointment will be sent via email or text message.

​

Prior To Your Appointment

  • If you, or anyone in your household, are unwell, then please contact at the earliest possible opportunity to re-arrange your appointment.

​

  • If it is not possible to deliver your booking at the arranged time, you will be notified at the earliest available opportunity.

​

  • Usually a courtesy reminder message will be sent prior to the appointment, with an additional notification when en route.

​

  • Please ensure that the Piano is completely clear of music and other items (photo frames etc.) and the surrounding area clear for removing the necessary casework on arrival.

​

  • Please ensure that the room is well ventilated and clear prior to the appointment time.

​

During Your Appointment

  • I will usually take a few minutes at the start of the appointment to check over the instrument - in particular where the overall pitch of the instrument is & advise accordingly.
     

  • You will be notified of any issues that arise during the course of the work, and any additional work or repairs will be quoted for prior to commencement.

​

  • ​I am happy to wear a face mask on request whilst on the premises - I also carry gloves & protective shoe coverings, which can be worn on request.

​

  • Payment can be made by cash, cheque or bank transfer on receipt of an invoice via email (sent using QuickBooks).

After Your Appointment

​

  • A PDF invoice will be sent via email after the appointment - this is due for immediate settlement unless specified or agreed otherwise. In instances of payment by cash or cheque, this invoice will act as a receipt.

​

  • If you, or any of your household, develop symptoms related to Covid-19 or are advised to self-isolate within the relevant time frame after the appointment, then please let me know at the earliest available opportunity.
